1. Support needs a shape · 地勢坤，君子以厚德載物。
You are the person everyone trusts to keep things going. But what happens when every task eventually lands on you?
你是大家最信赖、总能让事情继续运转的人。可如果所有任务最后都落到你身上，会怎样？
Kun, the second hexagram, is earth over earth. Its six broken lines show receptive strength: making space, receiving, and helping things take form.
第二卦坤，是地在上、地在下。六条阴爻展现承载的力量：留出空间、接纳事物，让它们成形。
Earth does not grow a seed for it. It gives the seed conditions to grow. That distinction will guide us through six stages.
大地不会替种子生长，却能给种子生长的条件。这个区别，是理解六个阶段的线索。
2. Notice the first sign · 履霜，堅冰至。
The traveler feels frost underfoot before the lake freezes. Kun begins by noticing what is small, not by waiting for a crisis.
行人在湖面结冰前，先踩到了霜。坤卦从察觉细微变化开始，不必等到危机出现。
Suppose one teammate quietly misses a handover. Ask what failed while the issue is still small. A checklist may help everyone.
假如团队里一次交接悄悄漏掉了，现在就问清原因。趁问题还小，大家一起建立交接清单。
If you keep silently fixing every omission, dependence can turn solid as ice. Early attention is kinder than a late accusation.
如果每次都默默替别人补上，依赖会像冰一样渐渐凝固。及早提醒，比事后责备更有益。
3. Make a reliable field · 直方大，不習無不利。
The second line names three qualities: straight, square, and great. Think of direction, boundaries, and enough room for others.
六二说“直、方、大”。可以想成方向端正、边界清楚，也给别人留下足够的空间。
A good field has channels and paths. In a team, write down who decides, who does the work, and when help is needed.
好田地有水渠和道路。放在团队里，就是写清谁决定、谁执行、何时需要协助。
That is not cold bureaucracy. It prevents the most dependable person from becoming the only path through which anything can move.
这不是冷冰冰的规矩，而是避免所有事情都只能经过那个最能承担的人。
4. Let skill serve the work · 含章可貞。或從王事，無成有終。
Here, a capable person carries valuable material into a shared building project. The text speaks of keeping brilliance within and seeing the work through.
画里有能干的人把材料带到共同的工地。爻辞说“含章”，有本领，也把共同的事做到底。
Offer your expertise, then let others handle visible parts. Explain the method rather than guarding it as proof that only you can succeed.
贡献自己的经验，也让别人负责看得见的部分。把方法讲出来，不要把它当成只有自己会做的证明。
The danger is quiet pride: saying you do not need credit while refusing to hand over control. Completion belongs to the whole undertaking.
隐蔽的风险是嘴上不争功，手里却不肯交出控制。真正完成的，是整个共同事业。
5. Know when to close the sack · 括囊，無咎無譽。
The sack is tied as rain arrives. At this uncertain stage, keeping something safe matters more than being seen doing it.
雨来了，袋口要扎紧。局势不明时，先把重要的东西守好，比被人看见更重要。
If a sensitive plan is unfinished, do not announce it as a promise. Protect the details, check the facts, and choose the right moment to speak.
如果计划还没定，不要急着对外承诺。先保护细节、核实事实，再选择合适的时候说明。
But a tied sack is not a life sentence. Once conditions clear, reopen communication; otherwise caution can quietly become avoidance.
但扎紧袋口不是永远闭口。条件清楚后，仍要重新沟通，否则谨慎可能慢慢变成逃避。
6. Lead from the center · 黃裳，元吉。
Yellow is the earth's central color. The lower garment suggests worth without demanding the highest place in every scene.
黄色是土的中央之色，下裳则有居下之意：有分量，却不要求每个场合都站在最高处。
A parent or manager might set a fair routine, then step back while others make decisions within it. Support becomes shared capacity.
父母或负责人可以建立公平的日常规则，再让其他人在规则内自己作决定。支持于是变成大家的能力。
The result is not that nobody needs you. It is that the group can keep moving even when you are away.
结果不是别人再也不需要你，而是你暂时离开时，大家仍能继续前进。
7. When support turns into a struggle · 龍戰於野，其血玄黃。
At Kun's extreme, the image becomes a battle of dragons. What once carried life now risks fighting for the only right to direct it.
坤走到极处，画面变成双龙相争。原来承载生命的力量，也可能为了唯一的主导权而冲突。
Perhaps you have done so much that you no longer trust anyone else's decisions. If every difference becomes a contest, everyone pays for it.
也许你做得太多，已经不再相信别人的判断。若每个分歧都变成争夺，所有人都会付出代价。
Name the shared aim again. Return decisions and responsibilities to their proper places before care turns into control.
重新说清共同目标，把决定和责任放回合适的位置，别让关心变成控制。
8. What can others carry? · 坤：元亨，利牝馬之貞。
Kun is not a rule that one person, or women in particular, should quietly do everything. Its receptive power gives different lives a place to grow.
坤不是说某一个人，尤其不是说女性，应该默默包办一切。承载的力量，是让不同的人各得生长之所。
The lines move from a first warning, through clear boundaries and useful restraint, to centered support. At the extreme they warn against a fight for control.
六爻从察觉初兆，经过立界、藏才和守慎，到中正承载；走到极处，又提醒不要争夺控制权。
