1. Ready to act—or still preparing?
You have an idea you care about. Should you launch now, or keep preparing? The I Ching gives us a useful way to examine that question: look at the stage, not just the ambition.

2. The hidden dragon
The first line of Qian is often translated as: hidden dragon; do not act. The dragon has potential, but it is still beneath the surface. This is an image of strength that needs time to develop.

3. Build readiness first.
The first line is at the bottom. A beginning needs foundations: build your skills, learn the situation, and check your resources before making a public commitment.

4. One small test. Real feedback.

5. Preparation needs evidence.
