一位资深教师留在处境艰难的学校：校长欺压同事、掩盖错误。她改变不了校长，却保护学生，坚持如实记录，也不参与嘲弄。像箕子身处暗君之侧，她的坚守是一盏没有熄灭的小灯。

从受伤之鸟低飞、饥行远避，到左股受伤借壮马得救；南狩得首之后不可急于匡正。再往上，识其心而出门、箕子守志，直到失道者自己由高入地，六爻依次呈现避难、救助、行动与守明。
Light is wounded and hidden, not extinguished. The favorable course is to hold to what is right through difficulty, with judgment about what can safely be shown.
“夷”有伤损之义；明夷不是说光已灭，而是光在受伤、被遮蔽的境况。卦辞强调在艰难中仍要守正。
