Great Possession is not merely having much.
大有并非只指拥有多，而是拥有资源、机会和影响力后，能否以光明、刚健和合宜的方式使用它们。
You receive an unexpected inheritance: modest savings, a reliable van, and a seat on a neighborhood committee. Great Possession asks not how much you hold, but whether money, vehicle, and influence can be carried with clarity, strength, and proportion.
你意外继承了一笔不大的积蓄、一辆可靠的旧面包车，以及社区委员会的一个席位。 大有并非只问你拥有多少，而是问金钱、车辆和影响力能否以清明、刚健和合宜的方式承载。

2. Avoid harmful ties · 無交害，匪咎，艱則無咎。
The merchant leaves a quarrel behind before it becomes an obligation. New abundance is safer when no harmful tie follows it.
商人趁争执未深先离开；新得的丰足，不能被不良关系拖住。
At the start, a neighbor pulls you into a noisy group chat about a quick-profit scheme. You leave the argument, decline to join, and write a simple budget. When the van needs repairs, the cost reminds you to stay careful. Avoiding harmful ties sets a clean beginning.
刚开始，一位邻居把你拉进热闹的群聊，讨论一个快速赚钱的项目。你退出争论，拒绝加入，并写下简单预算。旧面包车需要修理，这笔开销提醒你谨慎。避开有害关系，开头便少咎。

3. Carry the load · 大車以載，有攸往，無咎。
The cart can hold a substantial load because its goods are arranged and its road is chosen. Capacity needs direction.
大车能载重，是因为货物安放有序、去路清楚；有能力，还要有方向。
Your van is large enough to help. You sort donated food boxes by date, plan a route to three nearby shelters, and drive with a clear purpose. The load is heavy but arranged, so the trip stays steady and useful, and no one is harmed.
你的面包车够大，可以派上用场。你把捐赠食品按日期分箱，规划去三家附近收容点的路线，带着明确目的出发。载荷虽重却安排有序，行程便安稳有用，也少有过错。
When capacity is substantial, organize the load and move toward a clear purpose. What load are you able to carry if you organize it first?
什么担子，若先整理好，你就扛得动？
4. Serve a larger purpose · 公用亨于天子，小人弗克。
A governor brings the harvest before the ruler rather than hoarding it. Great possession earns its name through public use.
地方官把收成献于朝廷而非私藏；丰有能惠及众人，才算用得其所。
Your committee receives a small grant. You could use it to look important at meetings, but you instead teach other blocks how to track spending. Offering your skill to a public purpose fits the role; seeking only praise does not.
委员会得到一小笔拨款。你可以用它让自己在会议上显得重要，却选择教其他街区如何记录开支。把才能献给公共目标，才配得上这个位置；只求夸奖则不能。
Possession is worthy when capability is offered to a larger public purpose. Where could your ability serve something larger than your image?

5. Do not inflate · 匪其彭，無咎。
The merchant sets down the oversized chest and carries only what the journey requires. Restraint keeps wealth from becoming display.
商人放下夸大的宝箱，只带旅途所需；懂得收敛，丰足才不沦为炫耀。
After the grant succeeds, a supplier offers a luxury ribbon-cutting package. You choose a plain banner and a clear ledger instead. You do not let possession inflate into identity. The modest choice keeps trust and avoids blame.
拨款成功后，有供应商推销豪华剪彩套餐。你选择普通横幅和清楚账本。你不让拥有膨胀成身份。朴素的选择保住信任，也避开过错。
Do not turn possession into inflated display; then there is no blame. What display could you drop without losing anything real?
哪样排场，放下后并不会失去真正重要的东西？
6. Trust with dignity · 厥孚交如，威如，吉。
Neighbors come close to a leader who keeps the lantern lit, while a dignified distance preserves each person's place.
邻里靠近持灯的主事者，而他仍守住分寸；信任与威仪可以并存。
At the next meeting, you welcome questions warmly and share all receipts. At the same time, you keep firm rules about deadlines and sign-offs. People feel close enough to speak and secure enough to follow through. Warmth with boundaries brings good fortune.
下次会议上，你热情欢迎提问，公开所有收据；同时坚持截止日期和签字的明确规则。人们感到亲近，愿意开口，也感到有边界，愿意配合。信任与威仪并存，才吉。
Trust invites people close, while dignity keeps boundaries clear. Where do you need both warmth and a clear boundary?

7. Help arrives · 自天佑之，吉無不利。
The road opens after the traveler has used what they possess well. Help arrives more readily when abundance serves a right purpose.
旅人善用已有之物，前路于是敞开；财富用得正，外来的助力才接得住。
Months later, you rest under a broad tree outside the community center. A retired accountant offers free help to audit the fund. You accept humbly and pass the method on. Because resources were used uprightly, support arrives through ordinary people. This is not magic, just open help.
几个月后，你在社区中心外的树荫下休息，一位退休会计主动免费帮忙审计基金。你谦逊接受，也把方法传下去。因为资源被正直地使用，帮助常经由普通人到来。这不是神奇保证，而是一种开放互助的趋向。
When what one has is used uprightly and humbly, help from outside is more likely to arrive. What help might arrive if you keep using resources uprightly?

8. What will you do with what you hold? · 大有，元亨。
When resources are ample, true success comes from directing strength toward what is rightful and sustainable.
资源充足时，真正的通达来自把力量用在正当而可持续的方向。
It asks whether resources, opportunity, and influence can be carried with clarity, strength, and proportion.
火在天上，照见善恶。 拥有越多，越要让好事被看见、让坏的冲动受到节制。
