14 · Great Possession (DÀ YǑU)
Great Possession is not merely having much. It asks whether resources, opportunity, and influence can be carried with clarity, strength, and proportion.
The judgment
Great Possession: great success.
When resources are ample, true success comes from directing strength toward what is rightful and sustainable.

大有，元亨。
The six lines
- 初九 · Line 1 — Do not join with harm. No blame; through difficulty, no blame.
Original Chinese
無交害，匪咎，艱則無咎。
- 九二 · Line 2 — A great cart carries the load. There is somewhere to go; no blame.
Original Chinese
大車以載，有攸往，無咎。
- 九三 · Line 3 — A duke offers service to the Son of Heaven; a small person cannot do this.

公用亨于天子，小人弗克。
- 九四 · Line 4 — Not its swelling display. No blame.

- 六五 · Line 5 — Its sincerity joins abundantly; its dignity is present: good fortune.
